GUEST DESIGNERS - 2009
JANUARY 2009 - KRISTIE D.
Hi everyone! My name is Kristie D. I am married to my high school sweetheart and together we have a beautiful curly headed little boy! I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and for the past 2 years or so I have really been getting into photography. I have recently started my own photography business and it's going pretty well!! I love how scrapbooking can help your pictures tell a story and how you can preserve the past without just writing it down. A few of the things I love to scrapbook with are stickles (cause ya gotta love bling), thickers, lots of patterned paper for layering, flowers, bling of any kind, and my handy dandy scallop punch!!! A few things I love that don't have anything to do with scrapbooking are flipflops, a big ole bottle of freezing cold water, ranch dressing, and cuddling with my son! I am so excited to get to be a Guest Designer for Color Me Miki!! I loooooooove this kit club because it's so fresh and funky just like me!! LOL..

FEBRUARY 2009 - APRIL C.
I'm April Clemens and I'm a SAHM. I live in the San Diego area with my mysterious husband (wink) who is gone most of the time and my 2 adorable kiddos ages 1 and 3. I absolutely love crafting with my hands and have had the most fun working with Terri's kits! I'm currently on a Design Team and love to be surrounded by paper, embellishments and friends who share my obsession.

MARCH 2009 - CHRISTINE P.
Hello! My name is Christine. I am a mom to five blessings and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years. I have been scrapbooking for five years and was first introduced to rubber stamping. After realizing that patterned papers existed (and that it wasn't necessary for me to create background papers with my stamps), and that I could combine them with photos to create scrapbook pages, I was hooked! I enjoy working with lots of embellishments on my projects, and in particular Prima rhinestone swirls, Ranger Stickles glitter glue, ribbons and lace. I also use my Tim Holtz edge distresser very frequently. Some of my favorite tools include my Fiskars border punches, Martha Stewart border punches, and my Cuttlebug embossing folders used with my Sizzix Big Shot machine. I have recently opened a scrapbooking retreat house in French Valley, California, and look forward to welcoming other scrapbooking enthusiasts to visit it sometime soon.
I would like to thank Terri for the opportunity to be a guest designer this month. I love the Color Me Miki kits and had a wonderful time creating with the March kit!

APRIL 2009 - ERIN Y.
I'm Erin Yamabe, and am honored to be this month's guest designer for Color Me Miki. I think Terri does a great job with her kit selections, and I'm hoping that I give some more inspiration!
I've been scrapbooking for over 10 years, and it wasn't really until 2003, the year after I had my first daughter, that I really found my own style. I love color, and using lots of it, and love the collage, layered look. I currently design for My Little Shoebox, and Picture Me Perfect, my lss in the Bay Area. My work has been published in Love My Memories and Hajimeyo Scrapbooking, both are magazines in Japan.

MAY 2009 - NATHALIE L.
My name is Nathalie Leonelli and I am a stay at home mom of two boys, ages 7 and 11. I have been married to my very understanding husband, David, for 12 years. I am originally from France and now live in the San Diego area. I have been seriously addicted to scrapbooking only for the past few of years (even though I began my wedding album 10 years ago!). What started simply as an intention to get photos out of shoeboxes has become a creative outlet (if not an obsession!) that I can't imagine not indulging in. I currently design for two kit companies and I am honored to be Color Me Miki’s Guest Designer for the month of May.
